A very warm welcome to our school website. From the very first moment I walked in to our school, I knew exactly what Newington Community Primary School was all about and I wanted to lead it. I was instantly struck by the warmth of everyone that I met – without exception. Everyone loves being a part of “Team Newington” and it is this boundless positivity, enthusiasm and energy that flows throughout the school from Nursery through to Year 6. Ofsted once described the school as “an exceptional school” and it absolutely is!

Life at Newington is centred around our three core values of ambition, achievement and aspiration. It is these values that shape the teaching strategies we use, our approach to the curriculum and how we all work to ensure that children experience success during their time with us. These core values are modelled consistently by all school adults and are central to the highly positive relationships built between staff and children.
